Took the bike in today for a new Stone front tire and the Recall inspection. Passed the inspection but I now notice I have more front break than I had before. Same amount of pressure on the front brake handle as before seems to give a lot more front brake. Maybe its just my imagination but sure was enough to notice. I asked the service manager if they would mount a car tire on my back rim if I brought it in. To my surprise, they said they would but would not recommend it. Thats the first place I have found that would do it. So, when the back tire needs replacing, I may turn out the lights and go darkside.

Did you know the first couple to be shown in bed together on primetime were Fred and Wilma Flintstone.

That's great. Even if you don't, it's nice to know that you have a say in what you want to ride on.

Walked the pugs around the block this morning. Occasionally we cross the street on the main drag for some different smells. There is one house in particular that the fellow is out in the morning about the same time I'm passing by, either his side or mine. Never a wave, never a nod. Doesn't bother me. Today I'm passing by his house while he is pulling out. He stops, gets out of his car and says , " Excuse me. I don't like the dogs stepping on my yard ". I responded in a civil tone, " I don't like walking the dogs , no problem ". Anyone can live in a neighborhood, but not everyone can be a neighbor.
