Good morning all.
Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike snow at all. Ridiculous dumps, well, not so much affection. But we are often spared that activity close to home but it does happen and when it does, you just deal with it. 3 hours north of us Sunday night they got two feet and winds so it literally stopped everything until removal could take place. Lots of places (Vancouver, Calgary etc don't even have crews and equipment to deal with big snowfalls). How the Maritimes manage is beyond me. But a downside to the snowfall is the cold it can draw in once it's over. Usually snowstorms mean an influx of arctic air which gets stupid cold...-40 is just nasty. We're just hovering above 0*f but there's a wind so it feels much colder. Supposedly a mild trend for a couple days coming but more "seasonal" come the weekend. Will just burn some more birch or propane.
grab all the kicks you can baby, you only make this scene once!
