Good morning y'all. I've been up but working on writing up our ride from the past few days. It was good practice for retirement. Ride a few days with friends and wake up today and it's still Saturday! Cooling off here with a high today in the low 50's.

Just put them in the freezer. Got a nice 10 pointer last night and a “few more” this morning.

My walk in cooler. I’ll be a busy guy for a few days. Breakfast sausage, chorizo, hot Italian sausage and burger on tap.

Virginia has a VERY liberal hunting season. You get 6 on a regular license (3 bucks/3 does) and then you can buy an unlimited number of doe permits (5 deer for $12.00). Last year we put 15 in the freezer. The deer in Virginia are on the small size too. That 10 pointer probably only weighs about 120 lbs. The does average 75 lbs. They sure do taste good though.

Got all your orders for venison. Unfortunately I'll be a bit stingy until I get our yearly stock put up. That's about 12 just to feed our family and my son's family. As a side note, I rarely use a gun. These were all killed with a crossbow.

Same here with the leaves. I just blew all of the leaves in the front yard from a white birch and a dogwood two days ago. You wouldn't know it today, they all came back! Must have had a very large whole in my yard trash can.

The back yard has a very large oak, and several other trees. I'll be picking those up for the next week!
