Any 2016 F150 Owners?

The 2015 Ford F150 "Aluminum" truck has been on sale for almost a year. I am sure some on this board must own one by now.

I have two questions for 2015 F150 owners:

What body style (regular cab, crew cab, etc.) do you have, what engine do you have and what is your average gas mileage?

Also, what are your thoughts about the truck, pro and con, and especially the 'advantages' of aluminum?

Thanks in advance,
Joe T.

My associate has had one for almost a year now, loves it.
I'm not a Blue Oval guy so I'm not going to add anything more.
BMills likes this.

EcoBoost or not? And if EcoBoost, how many miles and any problems?

2 of my coworkers picked one up about two months ago. They say they love it, 22 miles a gallon on average with the V6 turbo. Both crew cab. Good luck on your search.

Yes, eco-boost. No problems and zero issues that he's mentioned. He gave up an F-250 Triton for it and loves the mileage (I've heard negative from other eco-boost owners on the mileage though). They drove to Alaska and back in June and he was amazed at the fuel range and economy, but even at that I doubt he's got 10k on it so low mileage on the clock. But then again the Triton wasn't exactly a Prius either.

I believe the Triton was a V10 also. Gas mileage wasn't that good either.

even the old 5.4l was a triton motor

my buddies last truck had an ecoboost motor and while it was trouble free he said it burned a ton of gas when pulling a load, I hear the same from the exec's at henry's

I had, and the company still has, my 2005 E-350 Triton 5.4 liter van. I miss the acceleration power . 13-15 mpg, but I have a company credit card. I'm rolling in a 2012 E-250 4.9 liter now. Comfy, but a turtle off the start line.

I had a '96 Dodge Ram with the v10. Passed everything pulling my trailer but a gas station.
