Geez, Terry, this is gonna be a difficult week for her, especially Friday. Hopefully, once she's riding with the group, her nerves should calm down.

For what its worth, in all the riding I've done in Arkansas, I've never seen a deer on the road. They are there, I just haven't seen them. And except for youth firearms, our weekend is out of deer season, so the deer should not be easily spooked and running crazy.

Ride often. Ride far. Ride safe and do much more of both.
Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach him how to surf the GWOF and he won't bother you for weeks, maybe months
I'll be waitin' for you at the end of the road.
If everything had gone as planned, it would not have been an adventure.

Glad to hear Sandy is OK, Terry! Cut to the chase and buy her a Hummer!

Very glad Sandy is ok and made it home (quite an accomplishment) but a bright side is, you should be getting some well tenderized venison when you get home.

My son is a Toy man too. His wife drove a Toy sedan and got in an accident and he put her in their Tacoma PU since she was also dropping our grand daughter off for day care every day. From what I've read trucks offer much more protection than automobiles. Something like this Terry oughta work.

You can fit 3 or 4 deer under that baby and drag them home. Will eat well for a year.

There is also a motorcyclist in this story killed by a deer hit. A reminder to slow down in deer areas, especially dusk & dark. Remember, when you catch a deer in your lights to dip the high beam so they're not blinded as bad. Also, when one jumps across more are likely to follow.

I live in Minnesota, where there are dam near as many deer as people. I'm hip!
