Kinda like making an omelette right Travis?

Finished the garage wall last night in good time. There's still more I could do, but there's another outbuilding that needs some storage renovations before winter hits. Need to make some room in the other garage in a better way to store the Wing for the winter, the SP will sleep in the attached garage due tot eh warmer temps. Engine Ice coolant (that's what I run in the track beast) is only good to -20*c but the Wing has better antifreeze so it can avoid things like a cracked block. It seldom gets below -20 out there but not willing to rebuild my SP's engine. Besides, the Wing takes more room to store and it will fit if I put my mind to it. Em, once the snowmobiles and wood mulcher and a few other things are moved out. And of course, gotta have room for the truck, hate leaving my trusty Duramax oldie out in the weather... so much nicer not having to scrape ice and frost and not having to plug it in.

Ugh, winter preparations already.

Since it wasn't raining and the mosquitoes had given me a suitable reprieve, I fired up the tractor and cut the lawn. My patchwork is starting to fill in and the field looks way better and less like a bombing range. Hasn't been a banner summer weather wise, but at least I gained some ground on the yard and stuff. If I live to be a hundred and retain my mobility, I might even get the whole thing finished...

My father and i finally got the motor mounted firmly back into the boat, and installed the new transom gasket. didn't take long, but it fought us the whole way, until it just simply popped right in. sealed it with some Geocell sealant, and screwed it to the transom. just a matter of preparing it for the winter, and letting it wait until spring.
still needs a lot of work, but one more step is complete.

I only lost a rickety book shelf in the flood and came close to being electrocuted, as the power supply for my laptop sits on the floor along side the table. When my feet started getting wet I pulled up the box from the floor, put it on the table and promptly shut the computer off.
I sent a letter to the property manager to get a court order to remove the tenant and send them to a nursing home as this is the third time this apartment has been flooded. It was flooded twice before with other tenants or move me to another available apartment.
I'm also thinking about legal action.
Spent a better part of the day fighting computer issues and lost a bunch of bookmarks in the process.

So have a short day due to Labor Day. But as soon as I show up, crap the boss's Harley is in my bay. Leaking clutch master cylinder cover. And being Labor Day Harley dealer is closed for parts.
And a State inspection. 2016 with ONLY 1,407 miles on it. He is the epitome of a fair weather rider. Only on warm, not hot or cold days.

Picked up the garden hoses and sprinklers from around the perimeter of the yard, clean up a bunch of mole hills. Then I mowed the lawn and just before dinner, I took a shower.

Have some things that need dealing with here at the shop, but if it works out I'm going to knock off this afternoon and try and fix that awning on the 5th wheel. Of course, things likely won't work out...
