Last night I started on doing the slat wall storage on my garage west wall. Herself is away so I have my run of the garage with "zero input" from another interested party.

There's a pile of accumulated em, wares in the back of my truck that will be deposited in the big green bin behind the shop today. Plus a collection of assorted tools and other once necessary items that I haven't seen in years, that I will see if any of the family can use. If not they go in the endless "garage sale" at the recycle site. Amazing what you find when you aren't really looking for it. Putting up the slats tonight and then fill the bins and shelves in a more organized fashion.

Side bonus is the look on herself's face when she gets home.

Yesterday afternoon I took my old Case 885 tractor with the front loader over to my next door neighbors and loaded two loads of Cedar rounds cut to 14 inch lengths and anywhere 1 foot to 2 feet across, we delivered them to our Friend Gil, leaving the splitting for him. Could not have gotten some of them into the trailer with out the loader.

Went into the C.C.C. in Bellingham to have some blood work done in prep for getting the Chemo pump reattached tomorrow. This will be the third round.

Just got home from motorcycle ride with the Grand Rapids chapter of the Christian Motorcycle Association (CMA). They have about an hour ice cream ride every Tuesday night. Tonight we rode to ice cream parlor in Ada, MI, about 30 bikes tonight.

Just had some excitement, while on the computer my feet started getting wet, there was a flood in progress. Kitchen floor soaked, carpet soaked and a lovely mess. The water wasn't coming from my kitchen but the one behind me. The knot-head left the sink running in the kitchen and went to bed. Manager had to wake them up and then clean up the mess over there. Some tenants here need to be in a nursing home.

That's beyond "oops" Val.Hpe you didn't sustain too much damage.

Down to the last run of slat on the wall, but the consarned mosquitoes drove me into the house before I could finish. Evil little things, I swear they are biting before they even light on you. Would have sprayed the garage with Raid, but didn't have any. Go figure, got every other doggone thing (ant's wasps, slugs, weeds, you name it). No doggone regular Raid...oh well, tonight will finish it up and to the blazes with the little flying vampires.

Currently, my father and i are renovating a camp (well, house for most people) for a client. we are tearing out a wall to join two rooms, and the bathroom to make it more suitable for some older folks (tub to shower, and more space for the potential of a wheelchair).
we are in the demolition phase (most fun part of any job ). the picture (attached, maybe) is taken from the bathroom, through the walls we built, looking toward the expanded room. this is pre-cleanup, after a bunch of demo, so excuse the debris. my cell-phone doesn't have much of a wide-angle lens. but maybe i will take my DSLR camera for better pics.
