Not a big deal, but got the Corvette out of hibernation yesterday. Started right up. Only let it idle in the driveway since the roads are such a mess around here. A good sign though with warmer weather to come..

I finished up the third plot yesterday. Supposed to rain on Sunday so it should be perfect timing. I hope it gives it a good soaking. (Sorry guys that only ride on the weekend ).

I got home from henry's about 15:20 and 66f. went in the front door, closed it behind me and locked it. changed shoes then headed to the basement and grabbed a battery, screw driver, and allen wrenches before heading out the side door. got the Mighty ST 1300 out of hibernation. after taking the seat and right side cover off I got the battery installed then put the side cover back on before firing up the Mighty ST!! I put the seat on while it warmed up. . rode up and down the block a few times then around the block. after getting MOMG on I rode down to my buddies auto repair shop for a chat then made it back home for a couple pic's

Went for a long long ride today and met up with Lee in Centerville. We had dinner together and BSed for a while. A minivan driver was kind of tooling with us about us wearing Goldwing emblems. Then asked us about side cars on a motorcycle. Lee and I split our different directions. Then I ran across this guy about a mile away from my split with Lee and asked if I could take a pic of his bike at a stop light.

Black belt pre-test last night. One forth dan and one third dan....went very well.

Sensei comes up from Montreal the last weekend in April for the real deal. Not sure how my knee will take the kneeling down though, did standing meditation at the beginning and end of last night's class.. Getting down is not bad, it's getting back up that's extremely painful.

got my car and Wing registered, today. it was convenient to do them both, so i got it over with.

i also discovered why my Wing didn't even turn on (see attachment). as the Neg terminal was loose, i suspect the Pos was the same, before it melted. quite lucky i didn't have a fire.

so, i will get a new battery coming, and before installing it, i will check around during my pre-season maintenance and inspection for any chewed wires, possibly causing the melted terminal. i did a cursory exam, but connecting a car battery via jumper cables. no adverse current draw, or sparks. so i turned it on, and started it (after a bit of cranking). it ran great! or at least, it ran as good as it always did.
