Argggggggg! I've noticed the front of the bike seeming kind of harsh lately and just measured the travel on my front shocks - 1.5"! I think my Progressive monotubes are toast!

Now I need to decide whether to head out this weekend with these things the way they are or cancel out. I'm about ready to be sick.

Other than a stiffer ride Does it still handle ok.
How hard are they to replace.
Could order a set and have them shipped to the Motel and bring the required hand tools , if you don't have to take the front end completely apart we could change them out there.

It seems that's the case, but it's getting very harsh and I'm concerned whether the forks could lock up completely. Sadly I'll have to totally rebuild the forks. Hopefully Progressive will get back to me and let me know if that's a possibility.

Yeah, that darn safety thing. I'm just not certain whether it's safe to take it on a big trip this way or not. We'll see what Progressive says. There's a small chance I could get Friday off and rebuild using the original parts but I'm not certain whether I'd need new seals again or what. Plus doing that the day before heading out doesn't feel so great.

Unreal...
