I've been wearing alpinestar new land Gore-Tex boots for the last four years, I really like these boots but they are not being made anymore. it has taken awhile but I found some in my size ( euro 48 ) so I went ahead and ordered another pair after all my current pare are four years old now. seeing that I have the GSA I needed some boots that can handle some off road duty. I got a pair of forma adventure low boots in black . they are about two inches taller than the alpinestar boots but much heavier, I won't be doing much walking in them with my bad knees so i'll have to carry a pair of shoes with me most of the time. two hooks and a Velcro keep the boots snug on your feet and they are waterproof. these boots are a bit large, i'm trying to get use to finding the shifter. for those looking to get a pair I don't think these would be good on a wing or most street bikes

I took my Alpinstar SMX race boots on a shakedown ride when we met up with Fossil and jaNice a few years back. Actually more comfortable than my X-element tour boots for walking and riding. Tad warm though. But it was 100*f....
