God made a farmer

As I sit here enjoying a delicious breakfast, I'm reminded of people who make it possible to eat all that we have.

Thank you to our farmers for your hard work and sacrifice.

I love that commercial and the farmers are a national treasure. I am always reminded of our good friend @Matt when I see that ad.

P.S. moved thread to the "Lounge"

I do too. I'm so glad we had opportunity to meet and ride with Matt on our way out to Cody. Really a nice guy who never gave up....

My father in law is a farmer and he has that on a plaque that my sister in law got him for Christmas a few years ago. Truer words were never spoken.

Myself a farm boy, everything in the video is true. My dad was a good farmer and our farm was tiddy and everything was in great condition plus he worked a 12 hour day 7 days a week, farming.
When I was 18 and my brother 19 dad asked if we wish to farm and we both said no. I just couldn't comprehend working so hard every day of my life.
Of course things are easier now with all the advances in equipment but still farming is not a lazy man's occupation. I'm still glad I said no as I don't think I would have been very successful farming.

your welcome! (not a farmer by trade, but one by blood)

on a more serious note, i agree that farmers are the backbone of the world. they grow our food, and even grow the food for our food. rain, shine, snow, and wind, they still have a job to do.
