OUCH... That's not a drop, that's an accident that needs to be reported to police... Hope everything works out and your Wing and your wife's car is fixed.

If that’s a bump then how about I tickle your chin with a baseball bat?

Hope he had insurance.

We both have the same insurance Gieco. Have not heard from them yet. And it was his wife's car that took the brunt of my wing falling on. She is a Wounded Warriors volunteer. So am not real upset until I do not hear from the insurance fairly soon. I am also waiting for a Estimate from Fredericksburg Motor Sports. They wanted my bike for 8 weeks to look at and repair. I asked if they were out of their minds. At most 12hrs worth of labor. Why 8 wks? well they have to work around it. I am an Auto tech, our clients would hit the roof if we did that to them.

Hmmmmmm....... I know insurance can move in slow and mysterious ways, but two weeks of nothing ??????? I take it your not riding it ? If it was your only mode of transportation you would be in a rental provided by the insurance company a couple of weeks ago.

Well it happened DAMNIT! Started her up to move out of the garage. It's 38 degrees so its idling high. I put a back rest on so I stand on the foot boards to swing my leg over the back rest. My heel went down on the shifter and it popped into gear, it was idling high enough that it still lurched forward enough to roll off the side stand before the stand switch shut it down and down she went! I tried to save it so it wasn't s hard drop and it was resting on the crash bars. Not a scratch that I can see or feel so I'm happy for that! I also found out that using the technique on YouTube I can pick that big girl up!

... I’ve got a IDMWT # but can’t remember what it is. It just happens. But you learn - or at least that’s the theory. Anyway - I put a back rest on my wing too but throw my leg over the tank. It’s nice on long trips but a hassle gettin on and off. Welcome to the club. If they had a multiple drop club I’d be in that too.

... just looked it up ...I’m #56
