Russian justice on the high seas! Bye bye Somali Pirates

We lost some people from Seattle and this is my thoughts exactly.

I BET SOME OF OUR NAVY BOYS WOULDN’T MIND FOLLOWING THIS LEAD. IT MIGHT JUST MAKE THE PIRATES THINK BEFORE THEY ACT {maybe}

RUSSIAN NAVY CAPTURES SOMALI PIRATES
How about that - The Russians captured the Pirates, tied them up, put them on the boats, then set them all on fire-puff no more Pirates!

NO POLITICAL CORRECTNESS BS HERE!

This video shows Russian Navy commandos on a Somalian pirate ship shortly after the pirates had captured a Russian oil tanker. The Euro Union navy that patrols these waters would not interfere because they feared there could be casualties.

All explanations are in Russian with a single exception of when a wounded pirate [AT 1MIN 20SEC] says something in English and the Russian soldier says "This is not a fishing boat". All conversations between the commandos are in Russian. If you don't understand Russian, the pictures speak for themselves.

The soldiers freed their compatriots and the tanker. The Russian Navy Commandos moved the pirates back to their own (pirate) ship, searched the pirate ship for weapons and explosives and then they left the ship and exploded it with all remaining pirates hand-cuffed to it.

The commandos sank the pirate ship along with the pirates and without any court proceedings, lawyers etc. That is, they used the anti-piracy laws of the 18th and 19th centuries where the captain of the rescuing ship has the right to decide what to do with the pirates. Usually, they were hung.

I would think from now on, Russian ships will not be targets for Somali pirates.

Law of the jungle. Here, they must be read their rights despite the fact they have none, then they get a hot meal and a shower, a court appointed attorney, clean clothes, a hair cut, a little one on one on the basketball court, watch some Opray, peruse the Internet to build their defense and cost the tax payers millions.

The Russians figured it out.... hopefully they will set a good example and the word will get out to the pirates that there will be a few less pirates every time a ship gets hijacked.

Somehow I get the feeling that if that was an American Naval vessel or British there would be a world wide rebuttal over it. International incident most likely and the poor pirates would be the good guy martyrs. Hopefully the Ruskies don't get anything but praise for their actions.

You might be right........ but I really think the world is against these pirates doing this. The holding the cargo ships and crew ransom is kidnapping, and I don't think too many people consider that those should get full legal representation prior to execution.

I think letting the people who have been hijacked before decide what to do with them......

The Russians don't play around and they don't seem afraid to take the law into their own hands and they refuse to take prisoners.
