Need CB tuning in SoCal

Anyone know where I can take my Wing to get the CB tuned with a SWR meter? Preferably in the Torrance/Southbay/Long Beach areas?

Find a neighbor or someone at a truck-stop driving a tractor-trailer. They always "have a guy."

Ride often. Ride far. Ride safe and do much more of both.
Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach him how to surf the GWOF and he won't bother you for weeks, maybe months
I'll be waitin' for you at the end of the road.
If everything had gone as planned, it would not have been an adventure.

Kind of thought that, but really no truck stops in my area.

Uhhh, you have a GoldWing, Rambler. Didn't you buy that for the purpose of getting out of your area?

I contacted a local amateur radio club, and they just got back to me willing to assist.

Actually I bought it for the wife, I'm just the chauffeur.

Takes special "jumpers" for the Wing CB. Available from Sierra Electronics if the club helping you does not have them

Yep, already ordered the SWR meter and the cables from Sierra. Figured it was best to have it on the chance I changed antennas or such.

Excellent move. I wish I had been smart enough to think of that.

When I had problems with my CB, I took it to a CB shop. The guy added a few feet of coax under the seat. Made a big difference in the range.

Interesting. I would've thought that adding additional wiring would degrade the signal a bit. But then I admit I know next to nothing in this area.
