Sidebar Option Setting not working

All of a sudden I have Harley motorcycle adds in the sidebar. I go to User CP, Options and check to make sure that the sidebar is suppressed in forum view, and it is. I click save changes and the sidebar goes away, that is until I change forums, when it comes back. Please fix. Thanks.

I have a different problem with this forum. Every time I move to a different page I get a yellow notification bar across the bottom saying "only secure content is displayed" then I have to click " display all content" in order to see attachments or to reply. This is the only site/forum that this occurs on.

I thought Harley’s disabled themselves?

this is most likely due to the site going secure (SSL). some ads and user images that are not hosted on this server may not be secure themselves.

not sure what you use for a browser, but there should be a preference setting somewhere where you can add an exception to suppressing non-secure content for this site. maybe even on the yellow bar that pops-up.

I agree with Travis, that started occurring with the latest security updates. I will say that for me it is an Internet Explorer issue on home pc. At work I run Google Chrome and it does not occur there. It also does not occur on my phone or Fire

So I downloaded Chrome just now and am working with that. There are no yellow security risk boxes any longer. All signs point to an issue with Internet Explorer.

This one worked for me. No more annoying "secure content" thing.
