What is this?

I have been working on my coolant leak. Bike disassembled without too much angst thanks to the videos I found posted on this site.

However as I am disconnecting my radiator lower hose I look down and see this. Standing in front of the bike facing the headlights it was on the right side. See pic for location.Click image for larger version

Any ideas as to what it is?

What is this?

Not yet!!!! Doesn't look broken off or is it intact? My phone resolution isn't that good with pictures.

It is pliable rubber. From looking at the top down you can see it is torn. I didn't see it while I was removing the hose. I'm wondering if it is some type of sleeve for the lower hose connection.

What is this?

Are you working this with a Goldwing Service Manual, or just off the internet ?

Not a breather tube, they have a plug in them and are smaller diameter.

It may be a hit or miss, but all the part schematics are online. Exactly what group that part falls under is the tricky part. For example: http://www.hondadirectline.com/OEMpa...01AMCAAF3700DG

I checked about every front parts diagram and couldn't find it as a separate piece.
