AMSOIL Severe Gear

Does anyone use Amsoil severe gear in the final drive of their gl1800? If you do use it, which weight do you use? I thought the manual recommended 80/90 but Amsoil recommends 75/90. I'm not sure why they even make two weights that are so close....

I suggest, you remove the fill plug first. Over the years I've worked on three wings where it was over tightened, And I had to use a hammer and chisel to get it started. One guy had removed the drain plug first, then couldn't get the fill plug out and couldn't ride his bike till he got hold of me and I got it out for him.
