Good morning all, I'm considering buying a set of metzler's me888. Have any of you worn these shoes on the 1500 yet?

There was a set on my 1800 when I bought it. The previous owner stated they had about 8,000 miles on them. I replaced the rear before I went on a 2,000 mile trip. The front one is still on the bike, but is cupping, so it will get replaced this year.

Thanks for the reply, are you going back with the 888's?

I am running 880's on my 1500 because they are Bias Ply. That is what is called for on the 1500. Did Metzler start making the 888 in Bias in the 1500 size? Some have had problems with the 880's when loaded down. I have not had any problems with the 880s on my bike with well over 8K. They still look like new.

If I were still on a 1500 I'd be running E3's or E4's
