Dunlop E4

How many miles is everyone getting on the Dunlop E4, on the front of a 2003 1800?

I am on my 3rd set at this point. The original bridgestones were dangerously worn at 14k. I have run the two previous e4 sets to about 15k and changed them out. Lots of miles left but had very long trips planned and didnít want to install tires on the trip. I have one friend who has run them for a little over 20k. I like the e4.

OMG, a motorcycle tire on your motorcycle??? What a novel idea!

It's OK, I'll do my appropriate penance for my remark...

Just 18k miles on mine. This is the 3rd season and they'll more than likely be replaced this winter. Most of the miles have been one up with lots of curves each day.

Over 15K on my 2003, and it looks like they still have a long way to go.

In all honesty, I haven't really looked at the E4 that closely as I'm thoroughly please with the Bridgestones. However, I do have to say that the front on dwade's bike looks pretty decent given the mileage on it. It actually looks as good or better than my 709 with 13k on it

Not sure if I like the rear though. The tread wear looks fine, but I'm not overly keen on the tread pattern...it looks like it could be a tad on the squirm-ish side in the wet. Anybody have anything to add on that part?

Mine have been fine in all conditions, from biblical torrents to desert heat. The only time I puckered up a bit was when the snow got over a half inch deep on the road surface.
