OK, first off, do you have a service manual (Honda or otherwise)? If not, can you post pictures of your problem area(s)? We have lots of well versed folks that know 1200's inside and out.

That should give our 1200 experts something to work with. It's been so long for me I'm totally not there anymore...

I can help with a couple of hoses. The hose up near the fuel cap goes into the air box.

But it get a bit tricky for the hoses on the right hand side because you have an extra canister above the fuel pump. We could still get there by placing the hoses that I know.

The outlet from the fuel pump will have a hose 6 inches long that will go into a T piece and the two hose from the T will go carby's.

When all else fails.......... use a hammer!

1/ One the left side is the battery. Maybe the left hose is the over flow for the lead Battery's.

2/ Goes to the air cleaner as you have said. The breather from the crank case goes to the under side of that black box.

3/ I don't have that cylinder on my Australian 1200 and can't help on that one.

When all else fails.......... use a hammer!

ok, Imagine a bare frame..now, let start laying the hose needed fro operations...
hum, maybe we start on the left side which means-i start the black dip box now i must take that hose some where around, from of the gas tank...Now it this point it either connected to a T at carb if so then where from there? plus above it is that black small ox knowing that the top hose goes to air box
