Help! What was this plugged into?

Had started doing an air filter change a couple days ago then had a bit of a health issue. Got my son to help with putting it back together and for the life of me can't find the other side of the plug that this connected to. 2008 HPNA

I believe it is the connection for the CB.

Thanks Jinx. I don't have a cb. No wonder we couldn't figure out what it plugged into! It's never a good thing for me to have days between trying for the first time to do something this deep. Lousy memory. I think I'm gonna go back to the numbered stickers I used to use on my first job moving furniture. All for that air filter.
Thanks again!

When you started the tear down, do you remember taking off the dash? And that connector underneath it that is so hard to get to? Just guessing that it is that connector. Of course I have an 07 but it sure looks familiar....Isaac

Thanks Isaac. If you're mentioning the one just below the ignition, that's not it. I fought to get that one out too. I really don't consider myself to be that bad of a do it yourselfer, but I had a heck of a time with almost every bit of that job.
Took a break for dinner and wait for a helpful answer. Thanks guys!
But overall took about 9 hours including the install of the Kuryakyn handlebar riser/setback. I might have set a record for longest air filter change ever.
Got it all back together without any leftover parts and everything works as it should.
Thanks guys for your input!

Gee Honda. If you have a connector that doesn't connect to an option, plug it. Open connectors hanging out in the open doesn't do any good for the pin connectors and the DIY looking for something to plug it into.

I wouldn't be so quick to blame Honda there Princess....The OP's bike is a 2008.....many hands may have been under that cowl before. I know that on my bikes every connector that isn't used by my model has a plug in it.

I let it dangle naked and exposed. If Honda wanted it that way, who am I to improve on perfection.
