We may need to seek counseling if we can't FIX IT. Think of the children.

Those particular ones are not noise cancelling. They are noise isolating. That is just an earplug with speakers. Am I right?

I had to wear ear plugs on my 919 as the wind noise was terrific. My SW is like the Goldwing and is very quiet. I forget to wear them now.

Yes, they quiet the wind noise some but don't interfere with hearing traffic, etc. as long as the music/intercom is muted.

Welcome to the forum. If you value your hearing and want to avoid the insanity that comes with tinnitus caused by wind noise, I suggest you do some serious research on the topic instead of asking for people's opinions. (Excuse me, outside paramedic voice again.)

I guess none of you live in Maryland. Here it is only legal to wear an ear plug in one ear at a time, not in both. The logic is....... well heck, I can't see any logic to it at all.

My thought on this. I will assume everyone here has a drivers license ???? Correct??? How many of you got a hearing test during the process to get your license?? Why can't we wear earplugs??

Check out "Ear plug store" they have a plug called Surefire Sonic Defenders for about $10.00 . Normal sounds are not blocked ,like voices, but the sudden sounds and loud ones are blocked. We even use for shooting with the little end cap installed. I bought a dozen and hand them out when on a ride. Great for cutting unwanted wind noise.

Wait this is not a add for the Ear plug store because I must admit now that I ride a wing my plugs are no longer needed . Except maybe they would help with the road noise from this Dunlop front tire.
I'm guessing an E3 BB I just put on an E4 and will see if she's any quieter.

I have a set of custom ear protection made when I was working and I wear them or a set of foam plugs.
