Instrument panel

I removed the instrument panel on my 1500 goldwing to replace some bulbs and when I put it all back together I found I have approx 1/4Ē gap between the instrument panel and the cover. I canít seem to find any missing parts but Iím not sure what Iím looking for anyways. It just doesnít look right to me. Am I missing something? It looks like the instrument panel has to come out to meet the cover. Can anyone help me please?
Thanks
Tom

Welcome to the GWOF, can you post a picture of the issue. It may help in the process.

Make sure the instrument cluster is seat properly, to start with.

Welcome to the forum. I am guessing that Ron is on the right track. There might be a connector that is preventing the panel to slip in.

I have it in and out about a dozen times. It has been seated properly. I donít like the looks of it but another forum said that it supposed to have a space. I canít find any spacers either.
