Spark plugs

I'm new to the Wing I have a 2008 GL1800 Airbag/navi/audio I'm looking to replace my spark plugs and was wondering what everyone use? I know its a matter of opinion but I was just wondering what the majority use? TYIA

I use the NGK 5129 DPR7EA-9 in my GL-1500, pretty sure that what hey came with.

Whatever matches this standard size. The debate is Iridium vs. Platinum plugs.

He has a 1800. They use different plugs.

Stick with the NGK's. I have never had a problem with them. DO NOT get them off E Bay! There are way to many fake NGK plugs that will cause problems there. You can also check your local auto parts stores. They may have them or can also order them.

2012 GL 1800
1988 GL 1500
1977 GL 1000
2012 KLR 650

I replaced the OEM plugs with Iridiums a couple years back since that what my RC51 came with and I also run Iridiums in my snowmobile. They seem to be better with the poor quality fuels we get anymore. My original plugs still looked primo, but I put the new ones in anyway. Can't tell the difference TBH., but the bike runs so good (as always) I'm OK with them all round. Can't really justify the extra expense another time over though.

grab all the kicks you can baby, you only make this scene once!
