Unhappy Usb hub on 2018,

Is it possible to use a USB hub on existing USB port, and use as a splitter connection to charge maybe headset or something else? i've tried, does not work...

I'd suggest a 12v accessory plug over the USB. But they are only good for about 5 volts draw.

If you are talking about using the USB connector inside the glove box on the 2018 I would think it should work. I took a different route to keeping all of my electronic stuff charged up. I generally keep my iPhone plugged into the glove box USB while I am riding, it keeps it charged and makes Apple Carplay accessible with a linked Cardo Packtalk, then I use my 12V accessory plug to charge my headset if needed when the bike is at rest during lunch or whatever. The Honda 12V accessory plug is an add-on to the 2018 Wing. I documented my experience with installing one on this forum back in December. A search of this forum in "Other Goldwing Modifications" should bring up that post. That modification provides enough amps to operate a Slime compressor for airing up tires, it is fused for 10A.

Welcome to the forum. I agree with the 12v socket option. I have a dual USB adapter plug in mine and it works.
