Quick on bike storage options

On my '07 I use the left cubby for my cell phone and garage door opener. Where does everyone else put their other accessories that don't seem to fit in there for me. Like sunglasses, gloves, chapstick, etc that you need on the bike when you're already in the saddle but pants or jacket pockets seem cumbersome. The right cubby I don't like for that purpose because it needs the key.

Just looking for ideas of a small windshield bag or something similar.

Thanks

Bob

I put one of these:

on each of my fairing pockets. Gives me extra room for exactly the things you mention (except my phone - I keep it in my pocket or on a RAM mount).

I keep my glasses, garage door opener, and other assorted stuff in the left pocket. On the right pocket I made a key knob that lets me open it any time. Here are the directions;

Has worked like a charm for many years. It isn't long enough to start the bike so I rarely take it out. Also since it just looks like a radio knob I doubt most people would know it lets them get into the compartment.

Same here, I use the "stubby key" knob to access the right pocket and gas door quickly.

Several years back someone made a leather bag the mounted between the handlebars, it was held on by velcro straps and had a flap on it to keep it closed. I had one on my 92 wing but I don't think anyone makes them anymore

I have found that the stick type of chap stick will melt if left in the faring pocket when the bike is in the sun.
