2019 seat

Just purchased a new Goldwing Tour and the seat is miserable. Very little aftermarket for the new GW. Wonder if others have any experience with this and can direct me to an alternative.

Plenty of people having the russel day long or other seat shops doing work on the 18+ seat. Just look around and find one that meets your needs and budget.

You can also give an Air Hawk seat cushion a try. Much cheaper than a custom seat. My 2012 seat is good for about two hours, then I don't want to get back on without a good long break. With the Air Hawk, I can put on 700-800 mile days and am ready for more the next day.

Just another option.

Sorry to hear the seat doesn't fit your gazinkas. I find the seat on my 2018 Tour the most comfortable seat ever on any motorcycle I have owned. Cruiseman's Garage has a video on some guy who modifies the seat for around $300 not including shipping.

I was going to go with a Corbin until I found out they reduced the passenger seating area and it didn't plug into the factory system for the heated seat, so then I was going to order a Hartco/Diamond seat which also has the heated seat problem. I have used both these brand a seats before and they both do the job but now the prices on both are out of line if you care about price. I went with the RDL which I have used in the past, a very good custom seat which was 65.00 to retain the factory heated seat.

I have a Hartco sheepskin and with the exception of a couple rare days, I can go 12+ hours without issue. Those "rare" days nothing seems to help, it just happens, and proper underwear makes a huge difference for me. But I do take my time at fuel stops and lunch breaks to walk around and get the kinks out. My biggest problem is I ride far too long without taking a break to photograph and view the local sights, I get the "gotta ride" disease. Missus hasn't broken me of that habit in almost 40 years of riding together.

grab all the kicks you can baby, you only make this scene once!

I'm leaning towards the Wing Soft modification to the factory seat for around $500. Seems to have lots of happy customers and good reviews, and you cant beat the price, BUT I sat on the Ultimate seat in Daytona a few weeks ago, and I gotta say it felt pretty sweet, both driver and passenger pillion. They expect to have a heated version available in April that works it the OEM controls or so the girl said. Might be worth the wait. I would expect it to run around $1200

I have one and like it a lot!

It comes with a Hopnel snap on bag for the back (more like a pouch) the wife puts her phone and readers in there.

Plus it matches the wings seat better than the others....
