After 10 years of uninterrupted and un- a- tendered service. Good night YUASA. Thank you for your service and I hope your younger brother can do the same.

My condolences Lee. My 12 wing has the original battery. Waiting to see how she reacts when I open the shed doors in the spring.

It will be charged unless you pay cash.

Good thing you didn't "assume" you know what that causes. Ten years is exceptional life for a battery. Maybe it was the car tire?

Anything that promotes a smoother ride has to contribute to the overall health of the parts !

I think your battery should be given a medal for faithful service. It (and the rest of your bike) have been put through quite a lot in those 10 years. May it rest in peace...

Well done Maestro. Your new one should be charged at aboutb 80 % (+/-) so a good run or a 2 amp charge for a couple hours (or more) should be in order. Do it before you install it?...

If I order it this week I will certainly have to bench charge it. If I order it next week maybe I can alternator charge it up to full capacity ! I prefer the alternator charging method. That method has worked for years. Don't mess with success, you know. White Wings may not be as fast as the red, but their battery is slower to die.
