A blank for the Gold Wing is expensive, but there is a Honda car key blank (Accord I believe) that will match. The only problem is that it is not long enough to unlock the fork lock. But I have one stashed on the bike for a just in case...… The remote I have no clue. Mine is on the shelf in my closet and I never use it.

The key is an Axxess 27 (not 27R), or Ilco HD 103/x24. Check the length of the grooves on the new key for the correct length.
As far as the remote, here's a link to Amazon.

OK follow the link provided - I ordered 2 keys from this person and they showed up in 3 days, fit perfectly. I had bought a used wing and it had no keys but this outfit can cut new keys with just the lock number. $10 each is much cheaper than any blank alone and I will use this service for any keys I need from now on.

Welcome. If you do get a new key(s) cut, be sure to check them first to see that they work. Some of them don't.

Thanks all for the replies, went for a ride 1st time on a GW temp was 32 had to get inspected for title application, I did enjoy it.. I
have been riding since 1955 had many cycles as we called them then. I have a HD flhtcui (electra glide classic) in the garage also, it is for sale. I have the basic GW but it has enough going on. I started out on a Servi Cycle then Vespa, BSA 175, BSA 500 flash, BSA 650 SUPER ROCKET then at the age of 18 sold cycle and got a 1956 FORD CUSTOM..

Ok thanks for info will be around for a while hopefully now nearly 77

Being the key is a chip I had to go to the Honda shop and they ordered one, then will have to go to key shop and get it cut,
then back to Honda shop to program it.... Only a chip key will start it other non chip keys will only open locks not ignition..
I think that is the way it works...
