What model Goldwing? What are your basic physical sizes? What is your most common riding style? What about the current seat don't you like?

One reason there is so many different options is how each of use rides and what we like.

I had Mustang seats on two different bikes, both with rider backrests and I didn't care much for either one.

I had two Ultimate seats on two different bikes and like them both very much.

I had one Hartco and never took a liking to it.

We are all willing to share experiences and recommendations but in the end you're really going to need to try them.

Russell Day Long customs makes the seat to your height and weight as most other seat manufacturers do, RDL are by far the best but very costly. I know a couple riders that had Corbin seats and said they are hard like a horse saddle. But they must be good because so many riders love them. If you looking for a seat that givres you room try this
http://www.bikesolutionsllc.com/wingsoft-large.html

They take you stock seat and remove a part to move you back a few inches

I will give a resounding endorsement to Russell Day-long seats.

I can't say they're the best because that would indicate I have tried them all which I haven't.

I have the Wingsoft Large seat.
http://www.bikesolutionsllc.com/wingsoft-large.html

It sits me back a few inches and that worked for me. I'm 6'1" and needed a little more room for my knees. That also caused me to add risers to the bars, but it has made the years and miles fly by a lot easier.
