Couple historic timeline oops's (F6B came out in '13 not '10; 1800 debuted in 2001 not 2000, 1500 in 1989 not 1990...but who's counting really?) in the history video but pretty decent collage of the Wing through the years.
Still pretty quiet on the new release later this month...can't get any info out of Honda Canada on where it is or who is allowed to attend...

Does anyone have an idea when it will be available at the dealers ? It will be nice to get some info but much better to get hands on.

That has to make one wonder. If Honda can't even get their own timeline right, what are we going to end up with?

Guys all I know is there is a huge gag order on the information. What's going to get my goat is when and if Mother Honda comes out with some tidbits and teasers and the infamous "see dealer for details" directive. And we won't have any of the details. Makes me wanna someone.

If Honda isn't careful the gag order could blowup in their faces. If as I am being told by my local dealer that the bike probably wont be available for sale until March it may cause some ill will. Let see 2018 for sale in March and 2019 for sale in October ? Honda did just that with the Acura MDX pissed a lot of people
that bought 2014 MDX off.

I won't shoot you, but you are painting target practice circles on your post.

Personally, I am tired of the speculative blabberings about a new Wing. I am just gonna sit back; if it comes, I 'll probably buy one, if it doesn't, I am perfectly happy with the way the 2015 travels.

Current Selected Model -

Hey Rusty - Every year there seems to always be a long wish list of speculative comments and doctored photos of the new Goldwing as they approach their release date. Personally, I think it is more of a marketing sleight of hand - "Look There Goes Elvis" ploy to distract our attention from the latest bump in pricing. I just hope Honda doesn't fall in behind the strategy of the Harley Davidson Corporation of trying to hype their customers into buying their latest bike with "newly designed handle bar grips".....

Every time I go to the dealership for parts I also keep picking out the bike I want. Currently it's a 2017 GL1800 Blue Black Navi ABS XM Heated Seats/Grips TriTone (newly designed grips included) for a one time out the door deal @ only $28,340. Yikes......

Is this a good price ?

I ain't Rusty, but I paid many (as in many, many, many) thousands less than that, for my 2013 Level IV (Air Bag) back in April of 2013.

I retired in July 2015. I found and purchased my 2008 Wing from a Harley dealer and paid cash after an hour of haggling. I'm very happy with my Wing and I'm going to sit back and see what the new Wings are like.

I can't buy one, my better half told me I'm not allowed to buy myself out of retirement.

Today is the start of winter for us. It's going to rain today and for the rest of the week. My Wing is more than happy to sit under it's Speed shelter! I'll drive in the rain if I'm caught out in it but I don't leave home while it's raining. I hate having to clean everything.
