Cherokee for the weekend.

I'm leaving Thursday morning when I get off work and will be in Cherokee and Maggie Valley until Sunday. Myself, dad, Bob and Robbie. If anyone is in the area during the weekend we may can catch up sometime. Can't wait! This is a long needed vacation.

Ride safely young man, all you lads are needed in Pa. in August.

Unfortunately for us we have plans that would not allow a meet up this weekend.

Enjoy it and be sure to share some pictures. Martena and I just drove through Cherokee and it was beautiful weather. I tried to talk her into a detour to Wheels Through Time but she had Walkers on her mind and we drove down to Senoia, Georgia.

You boys have fun and be safe. We'll be thinking of you while we're gathered in Missouri. Y'all riding the Cherohala Skyway over into NC?

If I can split my personality I'd be riding in 2 places at once. Missouri and Maggie. But then neither one of my halfs can't ride the bike by itself. Go figure.
I can't wait to hear when someone says: here comes Ralphs button half!

My wife will be at the dog show in Waynesville this weekend. If I can work it out I was planning on riding up there to grab her for a ride and some lunch, and then riding back home. No good food in Cherokee (except breakfast) but, the riding is awesome. My wife and I (back before her health went South) use to ride our bikes to Cherokee, stay at the Newfound Lodge for a week, and ride the Smokies every day. Lord that was heaven. We had it good and we knew it. We didn't have much extra money but, we had a great time. One year both our bikes needed front tires. I ordered some cheap Chinese tires, mounted and balanced them myself and off we went for the week. That week was probably one of the top ten best weeks of my life. Before she got sick she was really good with a motorcycle. Afterwards she would drop it at every other traffic light.
