highway pegs/Boards

So i got a pair of highway pegs/boards and i put the left one on just fine.W wnt to the right side and i can not get it to fit i have heard that the motor sits a little to the right but it seems odd to me any ideas?? so far one person has said he had the same trouble and to wrap the crash bar in tape and use a hammer and pice of wood to move it just the little bit. I think not

Thanks in advance

Confused, are you talking highway pegs that mount on the crash bars or driver's floorboards that replace the stock foot pegs? Also, post what type/mfg. you have and I'm sure someone can give you some hints.
