I guess I don't remember but I have the vented and everything seems fine. Ride a V twin bike in the summer and the Gold Wind almost seems like ac lol.

Louvered is the way to go IMO. Never noticed any change in engine heat, but where I live it likely doesn't show much. Wasn't a problem in Montana on 95*f days though, that's hot no matter what.

How much ground clearance is lost with the louvered ones B?

It appears I have an OEM belly pan however the front part is missing. Looks like someone was changing oil and filter and left it off. Where can I get just the front portion of the belly pan. I would like to protect my engine and oil filter.

Lol... Nope not planning to lower our Wing, just didn't know if the louvers scrape over speed bumps etc more so than the non-louvered ones?

To get into the nature of this site I need to ask How high are the speed bumps you are planning to go over ?
Mine scrapes on some speed bumps but I can't say it wouldn't have scraped with the non-louvered one.
The louvers on mine are between a 1/4 and 1/2 in. and of course some have no dept at all any more.
