We got to the hotel at our next stop in Ontario where we are resting up for a couple of days. We visited the falls on the US side then foot pedaled the bike across the Rainbow Bridge to go through customs on the Canadian side. That is not fun 2 up on a heavy bike in the heat. Then it took 15 minutes to go 1 mile to the hotel due to all of the pedestrian traffic. The views in my opinion, are worth it.

1st pic on the american side. the other two are from our room.

Thanks everyone, esp. Bill and Janice for a wonderful time and some great rides.

Had a amazing time and met new people. It was great meeting Eric and Vanessa in person, and to find out they are real people. Also would like to mention the great job that Fossil did on the arrangements and routing, and Crownfire for leading some of the great rides.

I also have to mention to Norma..............we made it home safety, thanks for the concern for everybody. I hope your travels are a safe one also.

PA144, Elk Scenic Byway

We're in Staunton, VA, for the night, after adding a few miles to ride PA144, the Elk Scenic Byway, which was a beautiful, curvy ride over a few mountains and thru several named state parks and forests; the road was well paved and a smooth ride, to boot. Great ride following a great weekend and thank you Bill for a fantastic job! Was great to see everybody and meet you new folks. We await the next one!

Got home about 1 hour ago but was hijacked by the granddaughter and given a lecture on going away too long. They went home so I'm going to reunited with my Lazy Boy and a beer. Great time Bill. Thank you for the invite.

Here's my only pictures.

We also took 144 back and it was a great ride.

I left out early this morning to 50 deg temps. That is a gift for a MS guy in August. The fog wasn't nice but no real issues. Rode US 6 all the way across to OH and saw my friends south of Cleveland and then finished the ride across OH to Toledo along the lake. I am in Findlay, OH tonight. Plan to go to IN tomorrow and see another friend and then home Tuesday.

Thanks to Bill, et al for making this a great experience. Good to meet all of you and hope to see you all again soon. If anyone wants to come down south and explore the piney woods just let me know.

Ralph, you and your family are in my prayers. Wish we could have met.

Terry and I finally arrived in Lexington, KY after a few set backs. I now know why Terry wanted someone to ride with him. Someone to be his tool man. I have picture but it won't let me up load it. Hope to figure it out tomorrow, it is too late right now.

We stopped several times to check on Terry's trailer due to excessive swaying at high speeds. After discovering the left wheel baring was loose we ended up removing, inspecting and reinstalling the left baring and getting it tight again. Once the wheel was off we also discovered very little tread left on the tire. We think it started to wear faster due to the swaying. So we replaced it with his spare tire in the trailer. We also removed the right baring and found that to be OK. He also couldn't pump up his air suspension on the trailer. We think the left shock is bad. We figure this is also contributing to the swaying. We got back on the road again after about a 45 minute stop and ended up the day with about 650 miles behind us. Tomorrow looks like a 750 mile day to get to Oklahoma City and home for Terry. I however have another 8 hours to get to the Houston area.
