Went on final ride of the year for the Grand Rapids chapter of the Christian Motorcycle Association (CMA) their fall color tour. We started at the Swan Inn restaurant on Alpine Ave. and rode north to somewhere near Fremont Mi., following a route laid out by the ride captain Rhoda who rides a Kawasaki Concourse 1400 and likes the twisty roads. The route was on county roads around lakes and rivers in the area, many curves making for a fun ride. Rode for about 1 1/4 hour and took a little break before heading back south, more windy roads. Stopped at a new outreach school for troubled teens on M-46 out side Cedar Springs Mi. for a meal and a little music and some fellowship.

About 30 bikes on the ride, made for a nice fall day.

Beautiful pics, William. I really like the ‘photo games’ idea.

Got the misses out for a little ride on Saturday. First time this year I think that she's been on a bike. Has her own but not really into riding much anymore. Stop in the old town part of Warrenton Va. and did a little looking around before lunch . Now I need to head back with my truck to get the stuff she bought. Maybe 2 up riding is fun but it can get expensive. But I did get to use up a half tank of fuel and we both enjoyed the ride and great warm fall weather we are having.

I know no pics it didn't happen . Well the only pic I took was at lunch and if I post that I will no longer have and fingers to type with .

Ride safe

I was able to take my future granddaughter, if nothing happens, out for her first motorcycle ride. Then I took my daughter out for a short ride, it has been about 5 years since she road with me.

Let me clarify the future granddaughter thing, she is 8 years old, my daughters fiance's little girl.

Get to skip the diaper and drool part and jump right into the fun stuff, pull out my spare helmet and go for a ride on the Wing!

Headed out for a ride to wherever the road took us today . Turn down any rode I had not ridden or remember I had . Found some nice back roads in West Va. , Maryland, Penn. and now back in Va. before the forest rats came out.
Need to look at a map tomorrow and see where I was and post some pictures.

A nice day with no plans and 300 miles . Not much can top that

Ride safe

Brian

Not today, but escorted RayJ and Judy a few miles out of Winterville yesterday (SHE drove; my wrist still in cast), on their way home, another 1300 or so miles. They are now in Gadsden, AL, for tonight. We sure enjoyed having them at our home overnight and visiting with us. Nice folks and look forward to seeing them again soon. Be safe, you two.

Thanks again guys for the hospitality. It was great fun. Next time hopefully Judy wont have deadlines to return to work. Had some great roads on the trip especially the days out of NC thru SC and GA. Had rain the last day for a little while but by Tuscaloosa the roads were dry and the day was marvelous. Great trip. Another part of the perimeter is done - Jacksonville to Wilmington, NC.
