Just returned from a road trip camping along the western leg of the Lewis and Clark trail. Utah, Idaho, Wyoming and Montana have always been some of my favorite riding territories. Next year I plan to ride along the Columbia River Gorge and on out to the Oregon coast. This trip had a late start because of a bout with the summer flu (?) and the terrible heat bubble that had been sitting right on top of the central U.S.. Sadly, didn't make Sturgis this year.
Had a great time in the cool nights above the timber line on "Beauford T Dudley" although I've about decided to change his name to "Mountain Goat". Busted him up a little more but who said old Goldwings can't jump - er climb. A couple of photos - some were too large to load -
