My 2019 Cross Country RV/Motorcycle Trip

I've finished planning my 2019 trip in Furkot. Here is a shot of my plan:

https://trips.furkot.com/board/AdNYIi

We will be driving our Class A Motorhome and pulling the motorcycle in an enclosed trailer. The plan is to quickly cover the first 3 days to get further west. I may get some early morning rides in on most days while my wife enjoys some additional sleep. When we get out west I we stay 2 or 3 days at some campgrounds. I plan to do some riding around Rapid City, SD and in Yellowstone. The entire trip is a bit more than a month.

Since my stepson is now stationed at Fort Lewis, WA I'm sure that I'll have another opportunity (or more) to do other trips. Right now I'm in the beginning stages of actually doing the trip entirely by motorcycle next year. The beginning stages are spousal approval. She will fly and I'll meet her there for a few days.

I'm going to use this thread to post photos/updates as I go across country. This is our first long RV trip pulling the motorcycle trailer. Any thoughts/suggestions are most welcome.

I see you'll be on I-90 . Plan a overnight stop in Columbus, Mt. Leave the RV. and ride south to Red Lodge and over Bear Tooth Pass or at least to the store at the top of the world. A beautiful ride.

Thanks Ron. Furkot doesn't allow me to share "optional" rides/points but Beartooth Pass is on that list. Unfortunately we're on a compressed schedule heading out to attend something with the kids so I'm not sure if we'll get it in this trip but I've kept it on the list because I will do it for sure if I go across alone on the motorcycle.

Well the final packing is done and we will depart early in the morning. The first stop will be Ohio to visit an elderly and ailing aunt. The first 4 days will be just putting the miles behind us so we can get out west and then I'll break out the Gold Wing. It is nestled in the trailer and all ready to head out. I'll be posting pictures when I can.

I overnighted in Columbus when I headed westward home. Not a bad place. Keep us posted on your travels.
