Two mate's and two bike and one photographer tour

My mate Colin rode to Quirindi to do a tour with Lady V, and the Hoon. After two days riding 1500 kms to get to Quirindi., Colin is up early to be lead astray by yours truly. With the 1500's packed and ready to ride, what a sight it is to see two great 1500's out the front of our unit.

Leaving Quirindi through Breeza to Gunnedah where we stopped to get fuel. With the bikes topped up we rode through Boggabri to a sacred Aborigine site.
The story goes. A young man and woman from different groups fell in love. Now this is a spear able offence and they were chased to this rock where they both decided to jump. And it become known as Gins Leap.

Our next stop was at Narrabri where we meet a friend that live there. We meet at the service station and had a coffee. With a 660 km day we could not stay long so, back on the bikes and rode to Moree for our lunch stop.
From Moree you are in the outback and you can go a long way before there are any services so we fill the bike's to the brim. We do not know where we will be able to get the next fuel. We are travelling through Garah, Mungindi to Thallan. Colin's bucket list has "big things in Australia" and Thallon has a big Wombat and painted silos.

Continue to Nindigully and no fuel. We hang a righty here to go to Goondiwindi where we are going to overnight it. I look at my speedo and we have 180 kms. from when we fueled up at Moree and.....there is another 180 kms to Goondiwindi and our next fuel station. I am thinking that a reduced speed was in order so that we should make it. My fuel light came on with 15 kms to go. I put in 20.4 ltrs.
Goondiwindi has the Big Cod. So another big thing for Colin.

From Goondiwindi to Inglewood on 42. At Inglewood we had breakfast and then took the road to.....Texas. We went this way so Colin could say that he has been to Texas. This is still in the outback.

Back in NSW now as we take a left and go towards Tenterfield. You follow the Dumaresq River and the roos out here are not very educated. They think that they can just hop out in front of a 1500 Goldwing whenever they like and also the cattle are out in the long paddock. So take it easy on these outback roads.

The bikes get a drink at Tenterfield and we continue down 15 to Glen Innes. Now take note of how quickly the countryside changes as we leave Glen Innes towards Grafton on 38.
