Vegas

Wife and I are planning a trip to Vegas this spring. If you are familiar with the area please answer the following:

1. What should I expect weather wise at the end of April?
2. Best place to rent a bike?
3. If you were based in Vegas and had only one day to ride where would you go. (My wife is good for about 250-275 miles in a day.

Thanks

Enjoy your trip!

1. What should I expect weather wise at the end of April? According to Vegas.com April average is
a high of 78 F (26 C), and lows of 51 F (11 C)

3. If you were based in Vegas and had only one day to ride where would you go. (My wife is good for about 250-275 miles in a day. If Death Valley had some rain in the winter the spring flowers are fantastic. The south end is about her long day away.

+1 with Crownfire, although riding to the Hoover Dam might be high on the list. Or take a ride to the loneliest highway.

Second Valley Of Fire and Red Rock Canyon. Then turn south through Lake Mead NRA to Hover Dam.

You can rent a bike through Eagle Rider. They have a shop just off I 15 not to far from the airport. They may even have a rental place in the airport.

Cheating on the question, but if that 1 day could be 2 days, the Grand Canyon is 275 miles away.

take a ride thru Oatman on old Route 66 while doing the Valley of fire.....you’ll enjoy that, and there’s a saloon in town that makes good grub....and don’t forget the burros running wild there too.

Oh Yeah, Oatman! And there's a motorcycle museum there too, AND it's FREE! Cool place. Simulated gun fight right in town. But Oatman is really NOT on the way to or from Valley of Fire.
