Where are all the riders? I couldnít make it do some poor drivers in the College Station, Texas area on May 22nd on the start of a trip to South Dakota and Minnesota. I had to turn around and get in a cage and complete the trip. Bent the right front crash guard and some cosmetic damage but very lucky. Bounced off the back end of a car that pulled out in front of me. The Yellow Wing has been in the shop for the past 2.5 weeks getting an insurance once over and Iím waiting on how much they are going to pay me for damage. Worst case for the other drivers insurance, as it sits now, is $13,200 to fix and the best case it will be around $4,300. If I would have been 1 second sooner it would have been a much worse outcome and for sure a t-bone accident, airbag deployed and some broken bones. Thank God for ABS.
I have since ordered a head light modulator that will be installed as soon as I get the wing home.
Hope everyone had more fun than I did🤕.

Here is a picture of the damage. Doesnít look like much but once you start looking at parts that got pushed, bent, scratched and cracked it all adds up.

What a bummer. I don't like being a party pooper, but if they can't see my train they are not going to see a Goldwing.

Also glad you're ok. It doesn't take long to add up. Heck our little mishap is in the $500 range to repair.

Had a great time Al, that was a nice little place. I would go there again (in the fall) to see the foliage. Thanks for having us, you looked great.
