Default Clutch slave cylinder

I have a 1990 1500 SE and was wondering how to tell if your cylinder is on the way out.

If the clutch still releases when the handle is pulled, the slave cylinder is working.

When it does go out you will more than likely find some fluid on the back of the engine underneath the slave cylinder. There is a weep hole there if my memory serves me correctly and that is how I knew mine was bad on my 98 Aspy.

Was wondering when the last time the clutch fluid was flush and bled.
If the fluid in the sight glass is starting to look like tea it's time to get it flushed and bled. If it's looking milky, it's way past time.

I bought a rebuild kit for mine from vencowings.com and it was everything I needed. I forget what the price was but it was more than a fair price. I had the privilege l of stopping by their ship in Loudon, New Hampshire while we were on out 40th Anniversary bike trip. Great folks and bought some goodies from their store as well. They will treat you right for sure.

Is your clutch acting up or feeling mushy? Maybe it just needs to be bled some.

It seems to catch close to the end of the lever. Will bleed it again and see if it changes.
