rigginray6 01-15-2011, 05:22 AM Funny I was on a 50cc Huskavarna back in the younger days, Grampa said go ahead ride in the pastures so My cousin and I took to the fields and rode through the fresh curds and whey that was spread the day before (unbeknown-st to us) while my grampy stood back and snickered. To say the least it took a couple of weeks to get the smell off us and much longer to get off the mini bikes!!
rigginray6 01-15-2011, 05:23 AM Ohh I forgot to mention the Swarm of flies!!!!!!!!!!

Ron Robertson 01-15-2011, 08:13 AM Riggin; I know what you mean about the smell a few years ago we were coming into Wisdom, Wyoming and right at the city limit sign we met a Cattle drive of several hundred head. They we strung out the length of town. had to stop and they just made their way around us. Got to laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes. Had to ride through that mess. For the rest of the trip every time the bikes got wet the stink would come back.
Isn't there an old song goes something like, You can ride your bike in a cattle drive, or was it you can't roller skate in a Buffalo herd. See you down the road Stinky:D

trike lady 01-16-2011, 06:30 PM The guy in the video has a great future.
Could he make it as a Stunt Bike Rider?
Crash test dummy?
Stuntman in Hollywood?
Motorcycle test rider for Honda?
What do you think?

Crash test dummy. What better way to evaluate the injuries suffered.
lonewolftx 01-17-2011, 09:37 AM I was 9 years old. Dad rode behind me for a few minutes theh went in the house, I loved it so I got on the bike, dumped the clutch and rode into the side of a 1 ton grain truck. The bike and truck came out just fine.

Ouch! I assume you didn't fair so well?
budoka 01-18-2011, 04:40 PM This is a bit off from the OP, but Mrs and me got in behind a trio of cattle liners some years back in Idaho near Bonner's Ferry. Before we could pass, we got 'showered' so to speak thanks to the swirling winds behind the trucks. Thankfully there was a cool stream and a day use area to rinse off at. Thanks for bringing up a rather poignant (or is it 'pungent') memory.
