Hi everyone.... Just ordered my 2009 Wing...Can't wait to get it....
I am going to purchase a heel/toe shifter, lower floor boards, hwyway foot rests, and passenger armrests....Also I am thinking about head sets for us... just to get started...
What do you think would be the best ones to look at or order?
Is there any other upgrades that you think I would need?

Not sure if your 09 Wing is coming with GPS? My 03 didn't have one so i added the Tom Tom and i love it. The headset for you and your passenger is a must. Good luck, ride safe and welcome.:)

If you have a problem with the tranny some dealers won't honor the warranty if you are using a heel-toe shifter. Might want to ask the dealer you plan on using if you ever need warranty service. (Of course they could always change their mind later). I have read some posts where the service dept. even will go so far as to look for signs of etchings on the shifter where the heel toe has been cutting a small groove. On the other hand the problems such a bent fork shifter supposedly are mostly on the '06 and before.
Please note that I am not saying that heel toe shifters cause tranny problems. I only know that some think they do. I just wanted you to be aware of the possible issues in case you have to use the warranty.
