Hi all. I got my first wing yesterday and I notice at first start up it whistles and after a few minutes it quits whistleing. What do I need to check? Also I have to have the choke on some at all times or it won't idle right and runs rough. Thanks for any info

Might try running some seafoam or techron through it. Then maybe check the air filter.

I do Know that it can be a leak on the inlet side,To find which inlet it is spray some airo start around each inlet and when the motor pick up speed you know thats the inlet that neads to be tighten up. I you are leaking air at the inlet side the motor will run lean because it is then getting too much air to gas mix so when you put a bit of chock on you now have got a better gas to air mix and the motor will run better. Sometimes as the motor gets hotter it will expand enough to seal and stop whistling and you think no more problems but a weak air to gas mix will burn exhaust valves. Hope this explain you problem.
