I have just started to hear a low rumble in low and idle speeds and when i pull the clutch in. I was told that it is caused by the bearing ion the alternator area. and was also told that small bearing was a recall. my bike is an 03 and has 66k on it. My questions is does anyone know the number to call honda rather than my local shop or anymore insite as to the problem. Motor runs fine except for the rumble.:(

Honda had several recalls but I don't remember that being one of them. Honda's number is 866-784-1870.

In Canada: 1-888-946-6329. If you have purchased a Canadian model Honda motorcycle, it is the responsibility of the selling dealer to provide you with the Honda Manufacturer Warranty booklet. If you didn't get one at the time of purchase, contact your dealer and ask for it.

Hello! I was always under the impression that you had to go through a local dealer - or at least a dealer before mother Honda would talk to you about a problem.
There is another way to find out about a recall on your 03. If you register here:

Its the american honda owners website, and enter your vin number you can find out about any recalls issued for your wing.
