I'm planning a trip with my son.

This is our current plan.
Eastern NC up through the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, Atlantic City, Philadelphia, Pocono Mountains, NY, CT, Boston, Portland Maine, Montreal, Toronto, Niagra Falls, State College, PA, Washington DC and then back to eastern NC.

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions of places to visit on this route, roads to take, good places to eat, and/or places to stay. Also if there are any good honda dealerships that cater to goldwing owners.

Sounds like a great trip you have planned. Pennsylvania has lots to see. Phila has the Liberty Bell, the Pocono Mtn region has great back roads (Alaska Pete's in Marshall's Creek is a good steak house), Northern part of Pa has Wellsboro and the Grand Canyon of Pa and State College is a great little town (Home of the PSU Nittney Lions)...

Going through NY you might want to go thru the Adarondacks or visit the Baseball HOF in Cooperstown, NY.
