Hi all, I have a low speed noise coming from the final drive !! Like a clicking noise! I only notice it when slowing to a stop and start! Ohh by the way it is on the 1200 GW

Have you checked/lubed your drive line splines and checked the final drive fluid?

Did you forget to take the snow chains off? :)

I think it could be worth a look at the universal joint particularly if there is a noise coming from the drive train when you go from a trailing throttle to power. And vice versa. Eric

hi rigginnray6, did some work on my wing got a 86, changed oil in my final drive. looking at my manual i noticed a place that said in the 84-85 models they had problems with the inner bearings making noise that you are talking about. there was a recall on those models. if you see this give me a e-mail at robertcomtois@comcast.net and i will give you the part numbers that are in my manual and you can check it out with a dealer, or leave me a number and i can give you a call i live in swanton. hope this will help. smiley
