Hi, Does anyone know anything about the manufacturers warranty being voided if I have a trike conversion installed on my 2009 Goldwing? I have been iinformed by one dealer that it isnt voided yet another one says it is as soon as you install the conversion...

Thanks, Britrod.

Good day! Technically speaking, the warranty is voided. But, it seems Honda knows the wings are triked and go out of their way to help out warranting anything that is not trike related. Like if the radio failed, usually no problem. But if the driveline (transmission) fails, you are pretty much on your own. You are adding considerable more stress on the driveline then on a two wheeler. A good note though, The 1800 is so stout of a machine it takes it all in stride. Good luck!

Actually, there is a lot of argument about this topic. Check out the Magnuson-Moss Warranty law/acts

and, "Most" Honda dealerships do not have any problems doing warranty work on the trikes if the kit did not cause the problems.

Your best bet is to contact you local Authorized Honda dealership.
