Does anyone know how to replace the cigarette lighter? Do I have to remove the faring entirely or can I get there by removoing the air vent? All help is really appreciated. I need to power my electronics but rust won't allow it.

1986 Aspencade. Cigarette lighter is on the right side under the speaker and right next to air vent.

it's an aftermarket lighter, honda didn't put lighters on bikes back then. the lighter on my 1200 wing is direct wired with an inline fuse to the battery. yours may be too. i've seen a few that are connected to the acc terminal on the fuse panel
